Jeff Jorgensen’s research featured on Cornell Research site

Jeff JorgensenJeff Jorgensen (Class of 2013) was a featured researcher on the Cornell Research site. Jeff is a graduate student, soon to graduate with his PhD, in Scott Emr’s lab at the Weill Institute for Cell Biology.  His research focuses on how plasma membrane proteins, the ones that separate the interior of the cell from its surroundings, are identified and subsequently broken down — the lumen of the vacuole in yeast, the model organism Jeff uses.  Read the full article here.
