Kirk Donovan

Kirk Donovan (2008) won the 2016 LPS Best Paper Award for his “Head-to-tail regulation is critical for the in vivo function of myosin V which was published in the Journal of Cell Biology (209:359).

Kirk was a graduate student in the lab of Tony Bretscher. He graduated in August 2014. His thesis was titled “Coordinating the Transport Cycle of the Myosin-V Motor Myo2 with Secretory Vesicle Delivery and Exocytosis.” He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Pfizer Neuroscience in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
